Need Portable Toilets? 3 Items You Don't Want To Forget

You're planning an event and the location you've chosen doesn't have adequate restroom facilities for your guests. That's where portable toilets come in. Portable toilets (like those from RCS Inc and other locations) will provide your guests with the restroom facilities they'll need. Portable toilets can be set up just about anywhere. Once your event is over, the toilets will be picked up. If you're planning an extended event, you can arrange to have them emptied prior to pick-up. While you're ordering your portable toilets, you should probably plan for a few other needs your guests might have. Here are three extra items you should include in your plans.

Family Units

Most portable toilet units are designed to fit one person. Unfortunately, that can make it difficult for parents to take their small children to the restroom. If your event is going to include families with small children, you should consider adding family units to your portable toilet order. With a family unit, parents will be able to assist their children in the restroom.

Portable Washroom

In addition to the restroom facilities that your guests are going to need, they'll also need a place to wash their hands. Portable wash facilities provide outdoor access to running water, hand soap and paper towels for drying. The portable washrooms will allow your guests to keep their hands clean throughout the festivities.

Odor and Germ Neutralizers

The portable toilets will be clean when they're delivered. They won't stay that way long, especially if you have a lot of guests in attendance. Once the odors start accumulating, your guests may start avoiding the facilities. In addition to the odors, the germs are going to start building up as well. You can reduce the odors and kill the germs by providing odor and germ neutralizers in each portable toilet. Here's a simple, yet effective odor and germ killing spray you can place in each unit.

Supplies You'll Need

  • Plastic spray bottle – one for each portable toilet
  • Water
  • Household bleach
  • Lemon juice
  • Tea tree oil

Directions

  1. Fill your spray bottles with water.
  2. Add ¾ cup each of bleach and lemon juice.
  3. Add 5 – 10 drops of tea tree oil.
  4. Spray the toilets and other hard surfaces to kill odors and germs

Portable toilets are a great way to provide additional restroom facilities for your guests. In addition to the portable toilets, use the information provided above to improve the restroom experience for your guests.
