Do You Need A Portable Toilet For A Holiday Party At Home?
You have all the decor in place, the dinner ingredients in the fridge, and the invitations sent to all of your guests. This year, you are planning a huge holiday party at your house. When you want your big seasonal bash to be as flawless as possible, you will go to great lengths to make sure every last detail is checked off of your to-do list. However, there is one thing you may be thinking you need but are not really sure: a rented portable toilet. Here are a few questions to ask yourself to determine if you need to rent portable toilets for your holiday party.
What is your guest-to-bathroom ratio?
How many people do you have on your guest list? How many available toilets do you have in your home? Do these numbers line up sensibly? Remember, the average person will need a bathroom once every four hours, but if you throw food and drinks into that equation, the frequency will jump by 30 to 40 percent. If you will be serving alcohol, you can expect guests to need a toilet even more than usual. If you are going to have a lot of guests and only have one toilet, you may need to rent portable facilities.
Are you comfortable with every guest using your personal bathroom?
If the idea of having every guest you have on your list going into your bathroom and using it as their own makes you uncomfortable, you may be better off to rent a portable toilet or two specifically for that reason. This can be especially problematic if you do not have a guest bathroom but only one bathroom in the entire house. Even if you are not concerned about germs, you may not want everyone you invite allowed to have access to one of the most personal spaces you have in your home.
How long will the holiday party last?
If your party is only going to be a few hours long, you will probably be just fine with the only toilet you have in the house being the sole facility. On the other hand, if you will be partying well into the night, having several people spending the night, or otherwise be holding a longer event, it will be wise to get at least one portable toilet delivered so your guests will have access to what they need.
